The title of "Chercher Les Lumières (Erleuchtung)" translates somewhat from French & German to "Search (for the) Lights (Enlightenment)" ...

The piece was recorded in early 1996; inspired by performing live at the January 1996 Sydney Big Day Out music festival as part of "CLANBERRA" ie. Clan Analogue Canberra's one-off super-group called "STOAT". This is similar in style to the music that collective made.

The track is based around a (real) TB-303 synth bass and drones from a variety of other synthesizers.
