about

This original version of the track "Rituals" was recorded in 1996. It was originally titled "The Bions"; was released on some compilations
as that. This is the "analogue" version with (a real) Roland TB-303 synth-bass & a Juno 6 providing analogue synth rhythms.

This piece was inspired by performing live at the 1996 Sydney Big Day Out music festival as part of Clan Analogue Canberra's one-off super-group called "STOAT".

Later versions of this track - performed live under the artist title "ELF" or "E.L.F." - employed a digital Korg Prophecy synth to produce
those bass lines. You can hear a 2002 live version of "Ritualz (Digital)" on EYE's youtube channel here:

The AYA project morphed into being known as "ELF" (aka "E.L.F.") around 1998-1999. Refer to www.ELFmusic.info
